Self-gratification vs. God-gratification

Do I have Self-gratification or God-gratification?

When I ask myself this I have to be completely honest and say that when it comes to being sexually pure I lean alot towards self-gratification. It comes alot from early family issues and that I've had a HUGE struggle with sexual immorality my whole life and it still haunts me today and I'm a freshman in college. I hate it, I wish so much to struggle with anything else other than sexual stuff. It absolutely consumes me sometimes and it's affected alot of other aspects in my life as well. Our society practically exhorts masturbation as a clean, natural way of relieving stress or sexual tension. But I'm hear to tell you that if you're believing that way and your a christian than you may need to direct yourself to God's word and look at some of these verses that may not plainly spell out masturbation, but it pretty much puts it in there with the rest:
"But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people"(Ephesians 5:3).
"Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming"(Colossians 3:5).
"It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control [her] own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God"(1 Thessalonians 4:3-5).
Ladies, if you struggle with masturbation as I have, there is a way out and it's only through our Heavenly Father. It can be a hard thing and you may want to give up, but if you try to do it your way than you will fail. It is 10 times better to do it God's way!!! Doing masturbation can lead you to turmoil in your marriage. A female when habitually masturbating, becomes familiar with her body complex and what turns her on. So when in marriage, often times, you'll find that your husband may not be able to please you in the way that you please yourself and that can cause conflict. I'm not saying this will happen in every case cuz well, when said something, someone can argue another way and bite you in the butt...so don't think that I'm summarizing every situation. Also, if your a young christian girl and your trying to stay pure in a relationship with the opposite sex, and you masturbate, then you are opening a huge can of temptation when your alone with the opposite sex, because masturbation doesn't just quench the fire in you, it only increases it. I want to send the message to young women out there that even if you have had sex outside of marriage and your feeling horrible about it, God still loves you no matter what...did you hear me? GOD LOVES YOU!!! He wants you to run to him and tell him your troubles and grief and let him wash you clean and build you back up. It's only through Him that you will be able to have victory over those temptations! So seize the oppurtunity to come to Him and give your desires up to His control.
